The Richland United Methodist Church has occupied the same corner on South Street since 1857, and the same building since 1926. The Methodist Church has a strong community minded focus. Various organizations within the church serve many needs in our community, such as the Food Pantry.
As a small church we have several generations involved in all of our ministries. There always seems to be something going on around the church, and you are always welcome.
Being a part of our church can mean jumping right in and getting your feet wet with missions or evangelism. It might also mean sitting in the sanctuary and enjoying the sermon. If you would prefer to stay in the background and just enjoy the fellowship that we offer, you are most welcome. We simply want to extend the offer of hospitality to you. As a child of God, you belong, and we will accept you.
