The Richland Methodist Church has transferred oversight of the Community Food Pantry to the Pekin Ministerial Association.

The pantry is now called the PMA Food Pantry and has moved from its previous location at the Richland Methodist Church to a new space in the southeast corner of the Richland Fitness Center building, located at 103 S Walnut Street.

Steve and Candy Pfeifer will serve as the site coordinators for the new location. The pantry will continue to primarily serve households in the Pekin Community School District.

The pantry’s hours will remain the same: Tuesdays & Wednesdays: 9:30 a.m. — 11:30 a.m., and Thursdays: 5 p.m. — 7 p.m.

Anyone living in the Pekin School District has access to this source. We are a Partner Agency with the Food Bank of Iowa.
